Hello, my name is Alexis Loyd. I am a second-generation childcare owner.
Growing up in North Houston, I went to my grandmother and aunt’s childcare center as a young child. Later in life, I assisted my mother by helping her build and start her own childcare center. Needless to say, my experience runs deep. I’ve always had a passion for children, childcare, and the way they learn. Before I decided to start my own childcare center, I worked at The Little Gym for 6 years.
I taught children of all ages through developmental gymnastics, sports skills, and dance. We focused on learning through play and providing a safe environment for children to learn basic gymnastic skills. Happy Days is a loving family-owned business, and our number one priority is that your child feels at home in our facility.
I am a face you will see most days and I am full of Joy. I am a certified childcare owner and operator. I Have obtained many certificates in childcare development and curriculum. I am eager to bring my expertise to the community.

Hello. My name is Sharon Smith. I have been a childcare owner and operator for over 20 years.
Happy Days Childcare center is a family owed and operated business and we take pride in providing quality, nurturing childcare in a home away from home atmosphere. Our parents and children are truly an extension of our own family and want you to feel at home in our centers. Not only will you see my face often but I’m also available with a smile to address any concerns you may have. I am certified in child care development and keep my credentials up to date on a yearly basis. I am beyond blessed and extremely excited to live in this community and be able to expand our centers locally. We look forward to servicing our community and welcoming families to be a part of our family of centers.
